Lillystar was not in any mood to have patience with these kits that had now twice intruded in her clan.
"What have you to say in your defense?!' she demanded of Streamkit.
Shadowstreak watched the scene unfold, hoping nothing would go amiss. She suddenly noticed the new kit she'd met outside, come tumbling into the camp.
"Quiet now!" she whispered, harshly. "This is important, you can speak to Lillystar afterward!"

Ooc: I already said my defence Lillystar. It's on the last page. You're just waiting for Streamkit's answer now.

ooc: and Lillystar didn't even realize how polite Streamy was being...oh well!
Streamkit sunk down with her ears back and eyes wide. "I-I'm sorry to intrude b-b-ut I couldn't watch my b-b-rother leave. I h-h-had to go with him and w-w-we ended up h-h-ere." she stammered, with her voice at it's highest rate, she was terrifyed of the strong leader.

Ooc: It's kind of hard to focus on politeness when two kits have just intruded on your camp while you were at the Gathering, talking back and being rude to the Clan's cats... Sorry if I'm being snarky but I'm still kind of mad about Giddy and my "fight"...

Lillystar considered the words of the two kits closely. It was so hard to make a decision about them. She didn't really want two rogues that had already caused trouble before in her clan, but could she really throw kits out to fend for themselves? She sighed heavily and looked the two of them in the eyes.
"I find this a very hard decision to make..." she started. "You have now twice invaded our camp and disrupted our lives...and yet you seek the honor of joining our clan..." She tried to remain civil, considering they were kits. "I don't know how you think you've earned the right to be here just because you have ties to one of my apprentices...but I guess I can do nothing about your ignorance..." "What does eveyone else think...should I allow them to join us...? Her clanmates might have thought it odd for her to ask them for advice, but she wanted to know how they felt.

Bristlekit heard Lillystar's question, and grew angry. Why should they let these ignorant little kittypet types stay?
"No!"
The yowl escaped her maw as soon as the question left Lillystar's. She did not back down out of embarrasment - she stood by what she'd said. The kits should learn to fend for themselves, if love was all they were after.
Ooc: Sorry it's so short, but yeah... x3

"No."
Wishclaw grunted as she padded towards the group.
"No. This group has attacked Shadowstreak before, they fought with Bristlekit, were rude, annoying, etc."
Her ears flattened, and her eyes scanned the gathered cat dangerously, finally landing on Giddykit and Streamkit.
"Let them rot in the river."

A hop through the rushing water, and she was in. Nyria looked around. The scent of Bristlekit was near - and there she was! But just as she was about to yowl to her half-sister, she realized there was some kind of meeting going on. Waiting for Amara, Nyria sat.
"Amara!" the huge black she-cat whispered urgently through the waterfall. "When you get in, don't talk or run around like you usually do. There's a meeting!" Of course, it was usually Nyria who ran around usually, so she was just being weird.
Another hop through the waterfall, and now, Amara was in, too. She looked around quietly, having listened to her twin sister. Her gray hues searched the cave curiously - not only for her half-sister, but for...well, anything.
"Where is Bristleki..." she answered the question before she even finished it - just ahead was their long, lost sister. So much was the same about the three, but so much was different...both Nyria and Amara liked to be around other cats their age, but Bristlekit did not! Both Amara and Bristlekit were quiet, and Nyria was loud and energetic. And finally, both Bristlekit and Nyria tended to speak before they thought.

Lillystar heard the new cats burst in, before she saw them. She turned her gaze away from the rogue kits to these new cats.
"Who on earth are you?!" she demanded, wondering what crazy thing would happen next.

Hm. She's been asked a question by some one of authority. Should she answer?
DUH. Sitting a bit straighter, Nyria spoke.
"I am Nyria," she meowed loudly and solemnly, "and this is my sister - Amara. We've come for acceptance...? Is that available here?" She padded closer to this...leader, supposedly, hoping not to infuriate her even more. "I've studied these Clan lives, and they seem wonderful - better than the rogue life our mother brought us into. We are about the age of a...to-be?" No, that wasn't it. "An apprentice, sorry."
Nyria kept padding closer until she was just at the edge of the group. Bristlekit was so near! How she longed to just...reach out and hug her. Looking back at Amara, she beckoned for her sister to come forward.
Amara's eyes widened. Come forward? In front of all of these cats? But perhaps Bristlekit would recognize them. Perhaps. Nodding to her twin, the huge white she-cat spoke softly.
"Yes. I am Amara," she mewed quietly, not quite sure if everyone heard her. She stepped forward to sit beside Nyria....and sat. "As Nyria said...we have come for acceptance." She had to refrain from adding "and to see our half-sister, Bristlekit."

Lillystar had to fight to keep her maw from dropping open. It seemed nothing would surprise her after this day...
"So you decided to come barging in...instead of waiting on the borders..." she deduced. This was all too much for the young leader. Never did she think that so much would happen in so little time. She had so much to think about and she was so tired, that she felt her thoughts swirling together and become muddled. Was she to accept these cats and cast out the others? It was all just too much...

Ripplepaw had to subdue a giggle when she saw the expression on Lillystar's face, despite the gravity of the situation. Cats seemed to come and go as they pleased in this clan. Speaking of that, where was Rustpaw? And Trillium? And Mandrake, one of the first cats that she had met when she joined MistClan? Ripplepaw sighed and sat up. "Please let Giddykit and Streamkit stay!" she yowled, raising her voice in a plea to Lillystar. Ripplepaw hoped and wished so badly that they would be allowed to, despite the preferences that her clanmates had already shown.

Giddykit? Streamkit? Who in the heck were they?
Nyria looked around. Hmm...she had scented a different smell of cat on one line of terra...huh. Frowning in thought, the huge black she-cat's train of thought was interrupted by a yowl: "Please let Giddykit and Streamkit stay!" Hmm...who looked like intruders? Ah! A small ginger-coloured tom, along with a tiny she-kit.
"Well..." Nyria began, "we wanted right away to see you, because of this...this thing...and we wanted to train to be warriors. Got me?" She was nervous! Speaking in front of a leader was a tough cookie to bite. Oh, hopefully this leader didn't hate them already.
Ooc: Amara really has nothing to say xD

Lillystar gathered herself and stood.
"This is how it will work!" she shouted suddenly. "All the cats here, not already part of this clan, are allowed to join..." she let that sink in, knowing protest was sure to follow. "But...if any of you breaks the warrior code or disturbs normal clan life in any way, you will be cast out and will have to find some other clan to call home!" She sat back down defiantly.

Battledream had maintained her peace on the subject – she was a soldier, not a politician. The warrioress frowned, yellow hues flicking to Lillystar as if seeking permission, before then rising to her full height, a low rumble in her throat.
“I’ll take it upon my paws to watch these newcomers until they have proven their names to the clan.”
Crystalline hues fell upon the four new cats, the two adults and the two pesky kits, before she continued with a growl.
“I would watch yourself and your behavior while I’m about.”
It was doubtful the fela would allow even a single misstep from them, but that gaze finally returned to the leader as in seeking any additions to this.

More clan members. It was thrilling.
The tiny black medicine cat apprentice sat quietly at Ripplepaw’s side. So quiet she was, it looked as if she had been forgotten, and that suited Umberpaw just fine.
Her attention was on Lillystar, then the newcomers, then that mammoth of a feline Battledream. Would they behave?
Fro their sake, she hoped so. Although she needed experience with herbs and treating injuries, she doubted that much would be left if Battledream got angry at one of the newcomers. Btu the large fela appeared to have a steady control, so maybe she wouldn’t allow that anger to lead to the death of one of the cats.
Or maybe Umberpaw’s mind was working a bit too hard so very late without sleep.
The ebony kitten often saw things that others did not, picked up missed clues.
And the voices? Starclan was blissfully quiet currently.

Why were these names so familiar?
Bristlekit stared at the ebony and ivory newcomers. Each had the same gray eyes as she...Nyria and Amara, Nyria and Amara...Who were they? The huge tabby-and-white she-cat's eyes narrowed in deep concentration, trying to figure out who these two were. She knew them...she knew them from somewhere...
She looked to Wishclaw, but knew that her friend wouldn't know them. And Battledream? She seemed to be a little ticked at them already, and no welcome wagon from her. Nyria and Amara...
"My sisters!"
The whisper left her mouth as soon as the thought entered her mind. These two...these two were her half-sisters. They had the same black-furred, gray-eyed, mysterious tom, but Bristlekit's mother...she wasn't alive. She isn't alive. But the huge tabby she-cat didn't know if Nyria and Amara's mother was alive, so she didn't ask. She just sat in wide-eyed amazement and astonishment.
