Name: Raindance

Personality:
Age: 44
Gender: She-cat
Personality:
Raindance is a softhearted she-cat, a true friend to anyone. She cares for every member of her clan, from the smallest kit to the oldest elder. She would do anything for any clan member, even give her own life to save theirs. It's hard to not find a smile on the she-cats face. She is a true sunshine to the clan.Description:
However, don't take the she-cat lightly. She is a dangerous fighter, having no hesitation to jump into battle. This reason for this is because the cat is fearless. Literally speaking, the cat has no fear gene in her body. She could leap off the side of a deep ravine, and wouldn't feel a twinge of fear or panic. This is not always a good thing, however. This makes the she-cat unable to realize when she should run from a battle. It takes literal force from one of her clanmates to drag her away from a battle. She could be mortally wounded, and still the she-cat would continue fighting.
She is a grand fighter, possibly one of the best of the clan. She fights not only with tooth and claw, but with strategy and speed. She knows strenght not all the time wins a battle. To here, speed is what helps win most battles, although strenght is a helping factor as well. Though she is a wonderful fighter, Raindance is not the best hunter. She would rather be battle-training apprentices than hunting.
That's another thing she enjoys. An apprentice. Having someone to train is something Raindance loves. She finds it wonderful to pass down fighting skills to a younger generation.
Although the she-cat is kindhearted, she also has some bad qualities about her, like every cat does. She is a bit outspoken, and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She is unaware about hurting peoples feelings with her words, which she does alot, but she never means to do it. She is a bit loud as well, quick to yelling when frustrated or angered. She is a bit ambitious, though not to the point of being a danger to her clan. She longs to be remembered in her clan for something, and longs to be looked up to.
Raindance is a beautiful white and gray she-cat. The main color of her coat is white, while there is lines of grayish across her back, mixing with the creamy white color. Her front legs, beginning at the shoulder blades, are brown, while her paws fade to white. A line of grayish-brown fur wraps around her back, starting at her left shoulder blade and ending at the right. Her tail is the same grayish-black as her front legs, and her back legs are a creamy white.History:
Her face is probably one of the most beautiful features of Raindance. She has several lines of gray across her forehead and above her eyes. She has a mask of dappled gray surrounding her eyes and ending at her nose. Her nose is outlined in black, bringing out the beauty of her face. She lost part of her ear in a battle long ago, the tip missing from her right ear.
Her eyes are by far the most beautiful feature of this she-cat. They are a deep blue, reminded anyone that looks at them of the color of the ocean. This is where the she-cat aquires her name, Raindance.
Rainkit was born beside her two siblings to Tawnyleaf and Treebark. Tawnyleaf was a gray tabby she-cat, white her father, Treebark, was a solid brown cat. Rainkit was the only female born to the parents, her brothers being a dark gray and brown tabby named Woodkit, and a solid brown kit named Brownkit.Other:
Although the only she-cat in her family, Rainkit enjoyed growing up. Being a she-cat, she wasn't as rough with her siblings at first, but play fighting with her stronger brothers caused her to become stronger herself, and pretty soon, she was able to fight just as well.
When the time came for them to become apprentices, Rainkit was still the smallest in her family. But the kit walked with her head proud to receive her apprentice name, and was the first of the siblings to receive her new rank. For that, she was proud. She trained with her mentor, Littleflame, a tom not much bigger than her, but taught her that size didn't matter. It was her speed that she should use, not the size of her body. Under Littleflame, Rainpaw became a fantastic fighter, and was soon able to bring both her brothers down in battle.
It was the day of the three siblings assessment, and throughout their apprenticeship, they had remained strangely close for siblings like them. Rainpaw, Brownpaw, and Woodpaw were allowed to do their assessment together, and the three were racing through the forest, darting through the trees and under bushes. Rainpaw was doing good, already had caught two mice and a vole. Woodpaw was doing the best, however, being the best hunter of the group, and had caught three mice, a robin, and a vole. Brownpaw wasn't do as well as the rest, with only three vole.
They had just rounded another tree trunk, laughing as they teased one another. It was then that Rainpaw, who, the fastest, was in the lead, stopped dead in her tracks, nearly ramming straight into the hind of a badger. Behind her, Woodpaw came to a dead stop, with Brownpaw nearly colliding into them. A growl rose into Rainpaw's throat, and without hesitating, the she-cat leaped at the head of the badger, her claws raking across the creatures eyes. She didn't understand why her brothers stood there, simply staring at the badger. Rainpaw felt nothing but pure adrenaline through her body, and the badger screeched underneath her, lifting a paw to knock her off. The claws of the large badger struck the body of the small apprentice, and Rainpaw was thrown off, pain exploding in her side where the claws had struck her. It was when she screamed that her two brothers broke from their trance, realizing that their sister was in trouble.
Woodpaw reacted first, hissing and leaping at the badger. He attached himself to the badger leg, refusing to let go as the badger thrashed and screeched. Brownpaw was next, his claws digging into the scruff of the badger. They attacked powerfully, but something was flowing through their veins that wasn't flowing through Rainpaw's.
Fear.
By now, the badger was angry, thrashing about, attempting to throw it's attackers off. A dazed Rainpaw finally climbing to her feet, shaking away dizziness as blood dripped from her side. Seeing her brothers attacking the badger, Rainpaw reacted immediately, leaping toward the badger with paws outstretched. The badger saw the cat from the corner of it's eye, leaping at it to attack. It growled loudly, lifting a paw to attack.
Brownpaw saw this just as he leaped away from the badger to avoid striking the ground. He landed on his feet, immediately seeing the badger aim it's paw toward his sister. A moment of extreme panic struck him, and, reacted instinctively, leaped toward his sister.
From the corner of her eye, Raindance saw Brownpaw leap, and when she looked at him, he looked back, a strange glinting in his eye. For the first and last time in her life, Raindance felt the only thing she would remember as fear. The absolution in her brothers eyes sent a single strike of panic through her, the only strike she would ever feel. Brownpaw struck her in the side, sending her sprawling through the air. A brief cry came from Rainpaw, a cry of desperation, and the moment she looked up when she struck the ground, she watched the claws of the badger slash through her brothers side. Blood sprayed the air as Rainpaw watched in horror as Brownpaw was tossed aside like a ragdoll, ramming hard against a nearby tree trunk, falling to the ground with a thud. The badger growled somewhere behind Rainpaw, and she heard Woodpaw give a cry of pain. But she couldn't turn around. She was looking into the green eyes of Brownpaw, who smiled at her one final time before his chest stopped moving.
Rage overcame Rainpaw, and she flew at the badger. Her and Woodpaw, griefstricken over the loss of their brother, attacked without hesitation, and it wasn't long before help came, consisting of her father and a patrol not far from where they were. The badger, weakened by the rage-fed attack from the apprentices, was killed by the patrol, and they carried the body of Brownpaw back to camp.
Rainpaw felt griefstricken guilt plague her life. She knew because of her, Brownpaw was dead. He had died to save her, and nothing could've been said to stop him. Woodpaw tried to comfort her, tried to tell her that it wasn't her fault, but it was no use. Rainpaw blamed herself.
In the battle, Rainpaw had lost the tip of her ear, and was slashed across the side. Woodpaw recieved a scar across the base of his tail and across his shoulders. Emotionally, however, both apprentices were nearly destroyed. They had lost their brother.
It wasn't a moon later than Rainpaw and Woodpaw became warriors. Because of her gracefulness and way of battle, Rainpaw became Raindance. Woodpaw became Woodpelt. Both were still horrified by the death of their brother, and could feel the emptiness that night as they held vigil. He was gone, and Raindance would never forget how it was her fault.
