Been a long time since we had an update =)
Well, the war is now over, meaning life can go on as normal now. Bane is dead, and BoneClan is falling apart what with the death of Razorblade, and the breakdown of Heartless. There are plans for BoneClan though, never fear =)
So you may notice some changes going on around here. Us admin and mods are trying to set stricter rules to prevent us having to repeat the same things to many new roleplayers. As much as we love new members, it's a pain having to repeat the same rules. I hope this goes well. I'm not sure what else we're going to change around here - you'll just have to wait and see =)

This is an update just to let all members know that the battle has no commenced! All information regarding the battle can be found in the Rogue Meadow under the sub-board of "BATTLE". Please read everything that has been posted; then you may fight away! I hope this all goes well, and nothing gets too out of hand.
I have currently just returned to school, and so I decided to start this before I became too weighed down with schoolwork that I had to postpone it for yet another year! I hope I can stay active atleast long enough to see the end of this battle! =D

Firetheory hadn't seen Shadowstreak since earlier on in the day. After he had volunteered for the patrol, and then went out to hunt, it wasn't until after sundown that Firetheory finally returned, pawsore but happy, with a rabbit and some mice.
But, it was already becoming late at night, and Firetheory hadn't wanted to disturb her sleep, which is what Firetheory assumed she had been doing when he arrived. With a flick of his tail, he swept out of the loud waterfall, enjoying the mild weather as the wind brushed through his wet fur. It felt good on his paws, and it felt good to finally give himself some freedom after the long day of hard work. He never imagined Clan life would be this hard, afterall.
He stretched out his muscles, buried underneath now wet and flattened red fur, normally fluffy and thick. And, with quiet solitude, he loped easily across the meadows and plains until he came across the Tall Oak. He would never had been able to sleep anyways, as he scaled the first several feet onto a steady branch. There was no wind to distract him, but he wouldn't have been able to pay attention anyways. The idea that he now had a mate, or at least was... courting, if that was the word, was something he never thought he'd have come across in his life. And, it was with Shadowstreak, an idea he certainly didn't reject. On the contrary, he enjoyed the thoughts of him and Shadowstreak.
Lightly purring, he settled on a thick part of the branch with his paws tucked underneath his fur, his orange tail dangling off the edge of the branch, twitching lightly.

Shadowstreak had indeed been sleeping when Firetheory returned to camp with is catch. Finally back in the warriors' den after so much time spent in the medicine den, she was still under orders to rest for at least several hours a day until her leg no longer hurt when she walked. Feeling cramped and bored, she had woken to find that her dear friend was nowhere in camp. Wanting to see him, she picked up his scent at the entrance and followed it through the waterfall, letting the cool sluice run over her fur. Then she padded along the wide grassy meadow, coming to a stop at the foot of the Tall Oak, where his scent trail was strongest.
"Having fun up there?" she called out, noticing him resting on one of the branches.

It seemed that Firetheory had unconciously tried to pick up the slack in Shadowstreak's stead, trying to work twice as hard as to cover her portion of the work in the Clan, so as not to stress her out too much as she healed.
He had closed his eyes briefly, letting his tail flick lightly out before a voice drifted up to him. While he had sensed someone or something was nearby, his thoughts kept him occupied. So, when her voice carried out to him, his fur shot out in alarm and his claws dug into the bark so as not to send him careening off the branch. He peered down with curious inquiry, quirking his head to the side, before smiling lightly.
You should be sleeping, Shadowstreak He said mildly, but it was merely a statement. While he believed she should earn up her rest to heal, he didn't think a late night stroll would harm her too much. What are you doing on this fine night?

Shadowstreak chuckled, his concern flattering her. She leaped to a low branch of the tree, swishing her tail back and forth idly.
"I'm a senior warrior in this clan, and while your worry is sweet, it's really not necessary," she said, calmly. Smiling up at him, she admired how the moonlight reflected off of his pelt.
"Don't fret, I won't climb any higher than this just yet, but after so many moons in the medicine den...I couldn't stand it any longer...I had to get away."

Firetheory rose steadily to his feet, but his descent down the tree was all but graceful. He leapt from his branch to a lower one, and though he grabbed hold he scrabbled at the park awkwardly, then pulled himself up and attempted to climb around the trunk to where Shadowstreak was, tail dangling and fur fluffed out before he finally reached a clawed paw to the limb.
With a hollow noise, he pulled himself up, his claws making an interesting racket on the bark before he sat, fluffed up and rather harassed, next to Shadowstreak. Afterall, he certainly was no Treeclan Cat, and climbing trees did not come naturally to him. Or at least descending trees didn't, and he didn't want to send Shadowstreak flying if he landed on her branch.
Finally settled, he smiled at her, tail flicking as he tilted his head to the side. Well, perhaps a small walk around won't do you too much harm. Besides, fresh air works wonders.

Shadowstreak smiled calmly.
"That it does, so you'll join me then?" she asked, her dark blue eyes seeking his out in the glow of the moon. Her tail continued to swish, revealing her concealed excitement.
